The City of McKinney Planning Department has announced the change from a bi-monthly submittal schedule to a rolling submittal schedule for all planning applications. Effective Friday, April 7, submittals will be accepted Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Applicants can expect initial staff comments to be returned after 10 business days, similar to both the Engineering and Building Inspections submittal processes. Submittals may be made either in person at the Planning Department or via email.
As part of the confirmation email, recipients will receive a welcome letter, name and contact information of the staff member assigned to the case and the date initial staff comments will be returned.
